We can finally reveal a project we have been working on today as Steve Peat unvails his race ready Santa Cruz V10 at Fort William.
I was so pleased when back in January Steve called and asked him to do something special for his last year of world cup racing we both were world championship virgins back in 93 at Metabief, he was injured in practice with a split open knee and unable to ride, so after doing my qualifying run we swapped numbers and i went up and qualified him, just incase he was fit to race on the day! 🙂 Our British team manager, (Tim Flookes) pretended that he was pissed that we done this but as he walked away he gave us a wink. I’m guessing you probably would not get away with that now days 😉 So knowing Steve from the very beginning and being able to get involved in his last year at top level racing was an absolute honour for me
Ali put a little time lapse video of the process together with the help from his son Scott, if you can spare 5 minutes to see the processes involved in this kind of paint scheme then watch the video below, we hope you enjoy it! 🙂 [huge_it_videogallery id=”5″]
All thats left to say is best of luck Peaty!
